Hello. Meet Treen – a passionate and experienced yoga teacher who is thrilled to be offering classes in the beautiful space at THE BANK 2829.
With over 10 years of yoga teaching experience and more than 30 years as a Midwife and Child Health Nurse, Treen brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her practice. As a qualified nurse, she has an in-depth understanding of the human body and how yoga, breath, and mindfulness can support individuals through life’s many challenges.
In addition to her general yoga training, Treen holds certifications in Pre and Post Natal Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Remedial Yoga. She has a particular interest in Prenatal Yoga and Yoga for Birth, further strengthened by her completion of Childbirth Education training.
Treen plans to offer regular general yoga classes at THE BANK2829, along with additional sessions based on community needs and requests. These may include:

Morning Yoga - Aims to gently wake up the body and mind, improve strength and flexibility and help to start your day in a positive way. Aimed at people who enjoy a regular yoga practice.
Evening Yoga - Evening practice to unwind from your day. This session will includes a longer Pranayama (breath work) and longer Savasana (relaxation) at the end.
Beginner Yoga - This is a four (4) week program for people who have not done Yoga before. You will gain an understanding into the breathwork and postures in yoga, which will help you to feel more comfortable about joining other classes. You must sign up and complete all 4 weeks.
General Yoga - This is a general Hatha Yoga class. We move through the postures at a slightly slower pace and include longer Pranayama and Savasana at the end.
